As the new Principal of Guthlaxton College my aim is to improve the experiences of staff and students, to do better and be even more successful than we already are. I intend to achieve this by generating more purpose and enjoyment for everyone, to make Guthlaxton a great school. To succeed in this aim we, all of us in the College community; students, prents, staff, partner schools and governors working together as one team to achieve our goals.
As parents you have a vital role in our future success. You can help your child achieve their best by making sure they; attend every day, are punctual and ready to learn in every lesson. You can support us too by taking an interest in what they are learning, talking to them and asking them what they hope to achieve and what they need to do to gain their expected grade in each of their subjects. Please check their planner regularly and take the time to read our Newsletter (Tiger News) to stay informed of the activities we have at the College.
I am looking forward to meeting you all, working with you and helping to recognise our achievements and realise our aspirations in the coming months and years.
