Following on from recent success of previous ex-students such as Nyroy Dixon, Jared Hageman and Emma and Sarah Manton we were pleased to welcome back Jonathan "Joff" Norman to Guthlaxton this week. Having graduated from Arts Educational in July of this year Jonathan is now on a nationwide tour of Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. Many of you will remember Jonathan from lead roles in musicals at Guthlaxton such as Me and My Girl and Little Shop of Horrors.
On Thursday 16th October Jonathan returned during a break from touring to lead a dance workshop with our 6th Form BTEC Performing Arts students. The students worked hard all morning learning two routines and clearly made the most of the experience; “The contrast in styles of the two routines was thoroughly enjoyable” said Joe Dowsing. Kathryn Oram and Lewis Wills commented that they loved learning West End style routines and experiencing that style.
We wish Jonathan continued success and hope to welcome him - and others! - back again in the future.
