Our production of Romeo & Juliet production went ahead on the 15th and 16th November and sincere thanks to everyone who supported us and contributed to the show. The feedback has been very positive and is a tribute to the hard work and talent of the cast. A-Level media students are now editing together footage from the show to produce a DVD that we will make available for purchase along with photos.
Two packed audiences demonstrated that Shakespeare is always popular and the cast brought to life their characters in an inventive manner. The mix of 50’s style and music combined with modern themes and styles to produce a fast paced piece of theatre that hopefully provided a fresh take on the classic tale. Although the whole cast deserves praise particular mention must go to Tom Webster and Faye Hawkins who both carried the responsibility of the title roles with great maturity and professionalism to produce exciting performances.
Hopefully we can encourage more youngsters to enjoy and take part in these productions and we look forward to entertaining you further in the future.
