YEAR 11 STUDENTS

GCSE English Language Re-take

• Tuesday 10th January GCSE English Language Exam (each unit is 1 hour long)

This is a retake of their Unit 1 and/or Unit 2 from May 2011. Students will have revision material but more is available on the VLE.

GCSE English Literature

• Friday 13th January GCSE English Literature Exam (2 hours)

The students will have to answer questions on ‘Of Mice and Men’ by John Steinbeck and respond to two poems. Revision material is on the VLE.

Please support and encourage your son/daughter to prepare for these exams over the holidays, particularly, as some students may not have an English lesson before the first exam. If you have any queries do not hesitate to contact us.
