Once again our young chefs took part in ‘The Young Chef of the Year’ competition sponsored by the Oadby & Wigston Rotary Clubs. This year both clubs grouped together to enable two of the winners to go forward to the next stage of the competition. Well done to all 13 of the competitors, however there were three outright winners and these were:
1st place    Charlotte Stokes – Year 13
2nd place    Lara Stomenov  -  Year 10
3rd place     Dane Pemberton  -  Year 11

Both Charlotte and Lara will now represent the college at the next stage which will be held at The Samworth Enterprise Academy on Saturday 5th February 2011.
