Music staff from Opera North bring workshop to Guthlaxton.

Yr10 and Yr11 music students recently spent a day with music staff from Opera North creating scenes from Benjamin Britten's mysterious and haunting opera The Turn of the Screw. Students also attended a performance of the opera at the Theatre Royal, Nottingham. The workshops and performances were free to students as part of an outreach education programme run by this national company to introduce young people across the country to the exciting world of opera.
