Two fabulous evenings packed with musical entertainment and dance.

If you were lucky enough to be at the College on Thursday or Friday evening of last week, you would have witnessed variety a truly remarkable music and dance performances from a range of students. For many of course, this will be the last performance at Guthlaxton before they leave to embark on the next phase of their lives. There is no question that this made the two evenings quite an emotional event.

The extent of talent never ceases to amaze. Ranging from Big Band, Concert Band, Chamber Orchestra, The Guthlaxtones and many solo performances to the College Choir, the Gospel Choir and many individual vocal performances, the commitment of the students is quite overwhelming. It is obvious this reflects many years hard work and much time investment by many staff.

The College has received many emails praising both staff and students for two fabulous evenings of entertainment. There were simply too many outstanding performances to mention individuals. Thanks must go to all the musicians, vocalists and dancers involved. A big thanks must also go to Richard Dacey, Will Smith and Chris Hirst and their team of technicians and support staff, without whom events such as these would not be possible. It makes us all proud to be part of Guthlaxton College.
