Read a review from the latest Art trip.

Students from years 10-12 enjoyed an exciting day out at the Patchings Festival in Calverton, Nottingham on 10th June. Despite the rain the group braved the field of tents to explore art, design and craft stalls from across the country. There was a mixture of painting, jewellery, textiles, ceramics and glass to inspire the students and information was collected from a variety of practitioners, providing an invaluable resource and insight into the world of Art and Design beyond school life. Some students even learned new skills – Lena Walker and Amber Murray had great fun learning to knit with giant knitting needles!
