Easter Study 2010
The end of the Spring Term did not mean the end of learning for many students this Easter. Revision lessons and extra work on coursework meant that 100s of students accessed the college during the first week of the holiday.
Guthlaxton students once again showed their commitment to their future by ensuring that they maximised their chances in their exams this summer. Classes ranged from Maths, English, French and Spanish to portfolio completion in Health and Social Care.
This additional study comes on top of the extra study sessions which have taken place since October on every night of the week. Teaching staff from across the college have been running extra sessions throughout the year and the impact on student attainment has been immense.
Although Easter Revision has taken place for years at Guthlaxton, the range of courses on offer this year has reflected the demand of our students to show that it is ‘cool to learn’.
