As we head for the winter period it is time again to consider the best way to inform parents/carers of the College closing for the day due to bad weather. You will hopefully be aware that we recently informed parents/carers of our Student Review Day by text message, using a system called Call Parents, and this proved very successful. We will therefore be sending out a similar text message if the College needs to close for the day, in addition to making the usual announcements on the local radio stations. Please do not reply to this message since, unlike Truancy Call, this is a one-way message. To ensure that you successfully receive messages from the College please keep us informed if you change your mobile phone number. If you do not have a mobile phone number registered with us then the system should leave a voice message on your home telephone number.
