David Tazzyman
In March David Tazzyman, who attended Guthlaxton from 1985 - 1989 appeared on Blue Peter. He has won the Blue Peter Book Award, together with author Andy Stanton, for best children’s book with illustrations. This is the second year running that they have won the award with their ‘Mr Gum’ books and in the Autumn they also won the inaugural Roald Dahl Funny Prize for ‘Mr Gum and the Dancing Bear’.
David was always determined to become an illustrator and we are delighted that he has achieved his ambition. A credit to his determination and an example to all our students as they “reach for the stars”. Well done to David.
