Year 12 AS Chemistry students complete their first practical assessment.

Congratulations to our Year 12 AS Chemistry students who today completed the first practical assessment in the new OCR course. These tasks form the practical skills component of the course and count significantly (20%) towards their overall grading in Chemistry.

The students will carry out up to 3 assessment tasks in each of the following areas: Qualitative, Quantitative and Evaluative. Their best marks will go forward to the Board.

As can be seen from the photo all students demonstrated a keen interest which we are sure will be reflected in their marks.
